We are diligently working in TBC as to strive and to obtain, investigate, achieve and sustain wide recognition trust in brands on the basis of the fundamentals of our Charter; as we ascertain that brands adhere to the principles and values in alignment with the Charter, we include in this portal of brands to trust. In the 2010 Board Meeting one of the topics of discussion relates to the decision on TBC and its publication. To this effect the following are considerations that includes:
What TBC and Brands carry:
- Value that hopefully are consumer-centric and in the GOB adhering to the Charter,
- Mission, values and vision or its equivalent,
- “Personality”,
- A voice to honestly inform consumers,
- A moral purpose that is just with fairness and integrity, and
- Consumers need to trust brands,
- Reduce risk (and disappointment),
- Is part of initiative to to protect consumers, and
- May well serve as a badge of trust,
How we are to seek protection: Through updates, maintaining alert and the affair activities we acquire knowledge as we can attest the values and principles under which and that many brand names operate. To protect impartiality, the brand that we list in this portal need not be a donor, fundraiser grant providers or need to carry affair activities, however we do and need to objectively attain or attest that the brand is in the marketplace having the best interest of the communities and consumers at heart to which there are a set of basic criteria with its fundamentals based on our Charter (in principles and objective evidence of a given organization’s operating and brand principle).
How do we inform or promulgate: We inform based on events that happen around the world from which organizations can enhance their administrative and operational methods and practices, and through this approach we interconnect through our delegates, donors, fundraisers, grant providers, and signatories into a global network (GlobalNet). As this portal grows we will expand the means to provide up-to-date information, we are happy to contribute to the current avenues of communication with moral purpose, ethics, integrity, competence and impartiality.
How we are to act: With impeccable integrity, through our own investigative channels, the affair activities, and various sources we carry an effective mean to communicate and to help enhancements in the supply chains to protect communities and consumers, whether these are finished goods, services or food supply as through our actions we pursue the reduction of threats, risks and to improve the communication channels.
